For the second time in a year, thieves have made off with plants from the planter at the village notice board. It really is a sad reflection on our society that whilst many in the community are willing to give their time (and money) in improving the village, other individuals wish to destroy this good work.

Ardentinny opens its gardens
The Shore Villages of Kilmun, Strone, Blairmore and Ardentinny this weekend participated in Scotland’s Gardens Scheme. Ardentinny opened two of its most beautiful private gardens to the public.
Eileen Connell and Freda & Barry Waldapfel’s gardens received a stream of visitors throughout the 2-day event, with all proceeds going to the Gardens Scheme charities. Well done to all three!
