Harvest Fair was a feast for the senses

Last Sunday, Ardentinny Community Trust held their ever-popular Harvest Fair at Glenfinart Walled Garden. The event was a great success, with visitors flocking to the garden to enjoy the autumnal atmosphere and to stock up on fresh produce and booty from the tombola!

There was a real sense of community at the fair, with locals coming together to showcase the best of what the area has to offer. There were stalls offering a selection of produce and crafts for sale and visitors enjoyed sampling the freshly pressed apple juice from the garden’s orchard and of course the burgers! There was also a real buzz in the air as people chatted, enjoying the autumn sunshine accompanied by live music from the Elderly Brothers and guests.

Overall, it was a great day out for all the family. Our community garden is a wonderful asset, made so by its dedicated team of volunteers and supporters who not only contribute to its maintenance and development but support its considerable charitable outreach.
