Under the guidance of Ardentinny ceramics artist Bill Williamson, an enthusiastic group of students displayed their creations at a final exhibition in Ardentinny’s Village Hall last month.
The 8-week ceramics and sculpture course was held late last year with the mixed-ability group creating a range of pieces from a sculpted bust to hand crafted wall tiles.
Bill Williamson said “It was really satisfying to be part of a creative and enthusiastic group who, although they were all beginners, managed to acquire the necessary skills needed to produce their pieces within the eight weeks of the workshop. The finished pieces were well received by everyone who came to the exhibition and we’re looking forward to the next set of workshops”.
