Easter Fun Day 2017

Despite gloomy conditions, Ardentinny Community Trust's first Easter Fun Day at Glenfinart Walled Garden was a great success with lots to do including an Easter egg hunt, egg painting, Easter bonnet parade, egg and spoon race, flower pot ping-pong, coconut shy and as usual a superb selection of home baking. Garden dazzles in Dunoon

As has become customary, Glenfinart Walled Garden took a stall at the annual Dunoon Dazzle event again this year. There was marmalade, pickles, chutneys, home baking and knitting on sale together with a busy raffle. Just over £350 was raised so a big thank you to all the volunteers who contributed to this. Walled Garden summer season culminates with Harvest Fair

Glenfinart Walled Garden’s open season culminated once again with a successful fund-raising Harvest Fair. The warm sunny day showcased the garden’s autumn hues and there was a raft of things to savour and enjoy. Glenfinart Walled Garden - Volunteer Days
Every Wednesday & Thursday 11am - 2.30pm.
All welcome!

Music Group - Every Monday 18:00-19:30hrs.
Village Hall, Ardentinny.
Neil and Mike from Rock Cottage are running a new group within the village, initially this is aimed at learning to play the Ukulele. That said we are not limiting or restricting the group to these two instruments. Anyone and everyone are welcome to come, learn, join in, or add something to those starting out playing an instrument, likewise if you’re at a loose end, then come along for a coffee and chat, worth noting we do have spare instruments knocking around, so even if you just want to try something then please pop along. Cost £2.00 per session. Teas and coffees will be available these will be on a donation basis.
