Ardentinny Bowling Club - Season Opening
Ardentinny Bowling Club began the new season on Saturday 12th April. President Gordon Smith welcomed members and guests and made special mention of the members who had assisted in the preparation of the green and facilities during the winter. David Dominick said a few words on behalf of the kindred clubs and Don Cragg of the Ardentinny Club gave a short and amusing speech, declaring the green open.In front of a large crowd of enthusiastic members and visitors, Olive Cragg delivered the silver jack and the first bowls of the season.
The committee would like to thank all who attended and contributed to a very successful day.
