Update on communication regarding Coulport

On enquiring, MSP Mike Russell reported that he had not yet received a reply to his letter to the Minister of Defence and would follow this up and Ardentinny Community Council Convener, Val Kennedy confirmed that she had contacted the MOD and 'will notify the CC and village when the meeting has been confirmed.'

Coulport blasts: Argyll MP Alan Reid writes to Defence Secretary

Ardentinny.org has today received an email from Argyll MP Alan Reid regarding the Coulport blasts. Mr. Reid has stated that "The MoD are supposed to inform the public of exercises in advance”. He has written to the Defence Secretary and will let us know his response.
